Murfreesboro and Mt. Juliet Managing Director
Lisa is the Murfreesboro and Mt Juliet Office Managing Director. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She has over thirty years experience in public accounting including attest, financial reporting and tax. She was the audit partner of Gillette, Henderson & Company, PLLC prior to the firm’s joining Blankenship CPA Group. Her industry experience includes small business, governmental, construction, employee benefit plans and not for profits. She is a member of the AICPA and TSCPA. She is active in the Mount Juliet Chamber of Commerce, serves as Treasurer for the local Pregnancy Care Center and is a member of the Wilson Bank Community Council.
Audit Principal Bob Adams joined Blankenship CPA Group (BCPAG) in 2017. Prior to joining BCPAG, Bob gained several years of public accounting experience providing audit, review, tax, and business consulting services to clients in a variety of industries. His primary focuses include managing audits for local government agencies, non-profit organizations, and closely-held businesses. Bob has extensive experience and expertise in providing audit and consulting services to utilities (natural gas, water, and electric), city governments, and non-profit organizations. He has also presented education seminars to utility management groups throughout Tennessee. Bob is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in Accounting. Bob currently services as the Treasurer of the Executive Committee and chairs the Finance Committee of the Nashville based non-profit organization called Dismas Inc. He was recognized as a 2016 Firm Volunteer of the Year for his service to non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee. Outside of Bob’s public accounting experience, he previously served as a controller for an automotive auction overseeing accounting and office operations. Bob resides in Nolensville and is married with two children. Senior Manager As a native of Rockford, IL, Laurie graduated from Rockford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She has 30 years of experience in public accounting, working with clients in a variety of industries. Early in her career, Laurie worked as a staff accountant in northern Illinois and then moved to a regional public accounting firm in central Illinois. There she moved through the ranks to senior manager, specializing in local governments, non-profits and small business. Laurie’s wealth of experience includes representing clients with IRS, sales tax, and unemployment audits; assisting clients with the sale of their businesses; and consulting with small businesses and individuals with their business accounting and tax needs. Laurie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and Tennessee Government Finance Officers Association. As a recent transplant to Middle Tennessee, Laurie joined BCPAG in June 2021. She and her husband, Tim, have been married for 30 years. They have two college-aged sons, Kaleb and Evann, and two Australian Shepherds, Jack and Jericho. In her free time, Laurie enjoys traveling and hunting for antique bargains.

Accounting Solutions Team Leader Prior to joining the Blankenship team in 2017 Kaitom worked for a Nashville public accounting firm where she focused predominantly on accounting services, with additional experience in tax. In her current role Kaitom spends her time supervising internal firm ASG processes and works primarily with small and medium sized business clients in the entertainment and service industries. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Middle Tennessee State University. Kaitom and her husband met at MTSU and married in 2016. They love watching their children grow, spending time outdoors, watching sports and being involved with their church.
Drake Richardson
Audit Associate Drake Richardson joined Blankenship as an intern in January 2023, and transitioned to an Audit Associate in May 2023. He will earn his Bachelor’s Degree from MTSU in August 2023 and then will pursue a Master’s Degree in Accountancy. He is from Henderson, TN. His hobbies include watching and attending sporting events, especially anything TN Vols related and the Cardinals, playing golf, and traveling the country. He looks forward to continuous learning and serving others.
